I woke up and decided to write something to promote #ElixirLang more, since it brought us so much.

"Sometimes the best tool for tomorrow’s problem is the one that’s been quietly excellent all along."

Elixir was our unfair advantage, then AI made it a cheat code.
We didn't plan for the AI wave, but Elixir's actors and supervision turned out to be exactly what modern AI agents need. Ship twice as fast, stay reliable.

As we've said a few times, writing the code was never the slow part. Making sure it was the right code, making sure it actually worked, making sure it did what was needed (not what was asked), those are the things that take time.

Ask your self "If writing code is no longer the bottleneck, what is?"

In #Phoenix #LiveView v1.1.0-rc.0 we shipped `:key` support for comprehensions in HEEx. The idea was to finally be able to have change tracking in comprehensions. We did this by leveraging LiveComponents. Sounds easy enough, right? There were some problems though. A thread. #MyElixirStatus

I have once again been nerd-sniped by @lpil.uk into writing a Gleam package.

This time, it's a lightweight, high-perf client for Redis-compatible databases, called Valkyrie!

The library includes a connection pool, and has been tested against Redis, Valkey, KeyDB and Dragonfly.
