Keep thinking about this term "pre-digested" that Kojima used to describe art that's instantly gratifying. And how it's better when people grow to love something instead.

I've gravitated, as player and designer, toward the latter, but that term "pre-digested" is new and feels very strong.

sometimes i think about getting voted "most dramatic" in high school and being upset about it (which is a very dramatic thing to do lol).

now that i'm older and have 30 minute meltdowns over lightly burning a pie i'm like no yeah they absolutely nailed it.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

"You need to be a true degenerate for Las Vegas to break your heart."

UGH! I'm one of the many who hate that damn place, but this line just gutted me. Winkie paints such a wonderful portrait of Vegas. A very good read!
I give you 5,000 words on Las Vegas, a city in flux. All year long I read headlines about how tourism to the Strip had sharply declined in 2025, so I went there for 3 days in October to soak in the vibe. Ultimately this is a story about why the city is Good and why the death of Vegas would be Bad.

@dan.nerdcubed.co.uk's Planet Coaster 2 series in a nutshell
some say youtube videos are not an art form but i think art is often just seeing something that speaks to the human experience. and nowhere is it more visible than a 40 minute video of a guy trying to do a weird project in his niche hobby and minutes 5-35 are yelling GOD DAMN IT as it doesnt work

reading crying in h-mart again (the essay, not the entire book) and it's just so good. Zauner somehow distills her unique forlorn, pining experience into something universal.

ugh. my kingdom to write an essay half this good.
