I love Gen Z. I love that they aren’t beholden to doing certain things because it’s “tradition.” But I have to draw the line at my teen referring to snow shoveling the driveway as “performative.”

Dems have to sharpen our elbows, make GOP fight like hell to get anything done, use power when we have it, and be utterly unapologetic about all of it. Secretary Mayor Pete and AOC get it, no one older seems to.
Dear Dems: you need to start being assholes and refusing to act like you exist solely to set a good example for Republicans so that it's not news when you play hardball and refuse to act like you exist to set a good example for Republicans.

Just used a bathroom with a bidet on a train moving 165 mph. I know no culture is perfect, but the Japanese have their priorities straight.
