Well, the bad news is we had gas leaks,the hob and oven were condemned, and apparently, the previous electrician had left dangerous wiring.Good news, they were able to make it safe and replace. So new boiler,heating,bathroom and safe gas. Merry safe Christmas.

Heart stopping moment at 00:55, waking to the sound of rattling to find one of the cats trying to munch on my morning pain meds and anti seizure meds. She's fine, but now I wonder how often I've taken my meds in the morning after she's had a lick.

I've hurt my back again, and the plumbing and heating engineers arrive tomorrow. The main issue is that we need to move heavy furniture, and I'm brain-dead from pain meds and can't decide where to put it.

The littlest cat is not happy that the snow is wet. Big cat is just confused and annoyed that he has to use a litter tray or get his bum wet and cold. It'd be funny if it wasn't me they moaned at in the middle of the night.

The littlest cat just stared at me and hissed. My crime? I hadn't opened the window. I clean the litter trays, wash the bowls and the blankets and still she hates me.

Found this in grandads suitcase of photos. Stalag 9c for 5 yrs is one of the reasons I can't watch the film Dunkirk. Grandad is top left.
