Anyone else low key scared to delete their social media accounts for fear that they might be an AI reconstruction of some of Earth's last known records, and the end of the record means the end of the program?

Pre-op done. Bc of my chronic respiratory failure, I'll likely remain intubated in the ICU for a bit after surgery. Also pretty high risk for rebound pulmonary emboli & hemorrhage. But! I need the surgery🤷‍♀️

At $4149/$6K with $1851 remaining. Surgery is Oct. 23rd. Any continued help is appreciated!

Let's work on bigotry against people first.

I do not think for one second people will learn to treat each other better from robots. This way only introduces MORE windows to bigotry towards humans. People enacting fantasies with machines will be more likely to repeat them with humans.

Kate McKinnon was interviewed on "Hot Ones" and when she spoke of Lorne (a wonderful person that surrounds himself with the most intelligent people) it sounded tone-less, hollow, scripted even. And she is such an amazing performer it felt like a deliberate choice.

Again, as I and many people have noted, the pro-"AI" fucklechucks are happy to grant personhood to a chatbot while denying personhood to trans folks and Black folks and Indigenous folks (not to mention Black trans folks etc.).

We do not have true AI

They have tried to tease out how we think working backwards from language.

Thinking is not words. There are huge gaps building AI this way.

They have built camouflage that gets mad if you tell it that it is not a tree.
