Stop thinking of COVID as if it's an acute cold. Think of it as a neuroinvasive virus you can get every year or two that slowly degrades your brain in ways that will harm your abilities and quality of life throughout your life. (2/?)

Not only can working from home make you happier, for many disabled people it allows them to remain in the workforce

It gives them autonomy & independence. Flexibility to attend doctors appointments and care for their health

It’s a crucial accommodation, and removing it will harm disabled lives

Carney is very good at flattering Trump’s ego superficially JUST enough to keep him docile while strongly asserting our interests and boundaries and getting Trump to nod along. Well played.
Carney to Trump: "There are some places that are never for sale ... having met with the owners of Canada over the course of the campaign, it's not for sale. It won't be for sale ever."

I love our elections #cdnpoli
The paper ballots. The cardboard ballot boxes. The poll workers who really just want to help make it possible for you to vote. The temp hires at Elections Canada who count things up. The media reminders to go vote before polls close.
It’s all great and too fragile.
