The whole recent dynamic of consumer-facing businesses that exist due to capturing a large % of rich consumer spending and then offer some capacity and a worse experience to non-rich consumers leads to a lot of societal tension.

This is the correct take. Best United has looked in a lot in a while. Next couple of weeks are going to be tough but they're miles better than last year
Frustrating, but not a time for hysterics. United were the better side, undone by two quality finishes after a defender stood off. Mitigating circumstances too, given the absences.
