This is obviously inspired by the work that the team at @comicstitan.bsky.social is doing, but I want to play in a TTRPG game that uses a sword and sorcery and a cthulhu/pulp system that does similar things to their Black Stone or Scourge of the Serpent stories.

Jim Lee openly disparaging AI in no way guarantees anything, no one knows what the future of AI is and no one knows who will be in charge at DC Comics down the line. But I think it's important that a popular artist publicly shot AI down. Fans and artists ignorant of or using AI need to hear this.

It is insane to me that the cheapest, rinkydink piece of shit 3d printer is more reliable than a 4,000 dollar Epson. I've met computer engineers with decades of experience building some of the most complex code who consider the average office printer to be an unsolvable black box.

I'm working on a quick and dirty little MÖRK BORG adventure for Hallowe'en... My idea for the antagonist was originally "The Hollow King"... and then I had the idea to fill the hollow king with insects.

And the next thing I knew, I was drawing Oogie Boogie as the villain.

It's too fucking early to sit in a meeting about AI adoption and propaganda at work when I see people unable to perform basic work functions like writing a PowerPoint or an SOP as a "time sink" Bruh... This is the job. The busy work is why I have to work 40hrs/wk to do maybe 24 hours of actual work.

Watched "Death of a Unicorn" tonight for spooky season. It wasn't really spooky and it should have really leaned more into the absurd concept they laid out for the the viewer, and it comes full equipped with an unexplained time jump. It's night at the end of one scene and mid-day the next.
