Jim Lee openly disparaging AI in no way guarantees anything, no one knows what the future of AI is and no one knows who will be in charge at DC Comics down the line. But I think it's important that a popular artist publicly shot AI down. Fans and artists ignorant of or using AI need to hear this.

The usual excuse of job fears just don’t apply anymore, not only for basic moral duty but the billionaires telling you to sell this as Fine can’t be financially disincentivized to stop. They know it’s annihilating ratings and they don’t care bc it’s win-win if they kill any remotely honest platform
