It's seven years since we posted on Twitter about how kids kept coming into the library asking if we had any books about FORTNITE. We didn't back then, and we'd never heard of it so we tried asking what it was.

“What’s the Frequency, Kenneth?”. First song I remember hearing the word “fuck” in and relishing how it sounded when I sang along. It was the first song I “discovered” on my own and not something I heard when my parents played music or I heard in a movie.
Without saying Losing My Religion, fav R.E.M. Song?

KPop Demon Hunters Sing Along in theaters was awesome! It hits different on the big screen surrounded by folks who are feeling the same vibes. It’s similar to a live concert experience but for neurodivergent folks like myself it was more comfortable, safer, and easier for me to enjoy.

That scene felt hella important to me. The act of caring about something that cannot thank you back, a small critter that is overlooked or taken for granted.
it is a KEY FUCKING MOMENT for the character
If Superman saving that squirrel made you angry I literally want nothing to do with you, like at all.

Imagine being a PR person in DC right now. It’s either going to net you a nice chunk of change due to how many people will need a PR spin or you’re shaking in your boots at the thought of one of your clients getting approached by media.

Costco roast chicken is the gift that keeps on giving. Two days worth of roast chicken meals, 4 cups of homemade chicken stock, and today chicken noodle soup with said stock and leftover chicken. Costco is the best.

My maternal grandfather was from Chicago (northwest side aka predominantly Polish area) and I lived next to Humboldt Park (in the Paseo Boricua area) for 7 years.

Yeah, Chicago is in my blood and it’s definitely something that stays with you. Forever.

It took me way too long to realize this was a joke about batteries and not game budgets. My brain immediately went to “but AAA Milne was the more expensive of the brothers”
Not many people know that AA Milne had a much smaller brother called AAA Milne

Yesterday, at almost 42 years of life on this earth, I tried a variety of avocado that wasn’t Hass for the first time ever.

I…I didn’t know avocados could have smooth, thin skin. I didn’t know they could be downright buttery!

Still unsure if it’s a Fuerte, Bacon, or Ettinger variety.
