Congratulations to my friend and our newest State Senator from Tarrant County, Taylor Rehmet! I met Taylor years ago through labor organizing.

Don’t tell us what can’t be done in Texas. When we show up #TexasTough, we change the game. Today we proved what we’ve known all along: Texas is in play.

Wow— “Cardinal Tobin told hundreds of faithful gathered online that now is the time to say no — no to violence, no to indifference, and no to funding the U.S. government’s own “machinery of death.”

Braverman says she's been "politically homeless" for over 2 years, which means she was reelected in 2024 as an MP for a party she didn't want to be a member of.

And she says Tories "failed Britain [on] Brexit and immigration". She was Brexit minister and Home Secretary. Twice.

But "vote for me!"

Bovino is just the patsy - a noxious and odious fall guy. Stephen Miller is the architect and prime mover of the whole thing. Everything they do is at his direction - often after his threats. As long as he runs policy in the WH, nothing will change no matter how many Bovinos come and go.

ICE murdered Renée Good in broad daylight. Less than 3 weeks later, they killed Alex Pretti, shooting him 10 times. Every day, we watch as people are ripped from their cars, their homes, their lives.

We can't allow ourselves to look away from this cruelty. Abolish ICE.

Abolish ICE is not enough.

Stern words for Greg Bovino or Kristi Noem is not enough.

We need prosecutions and trials.

Anything short of this position fails to address the gravity of this moment.

The fact that some Earth systems—like coral reefs—have already passed tipping points shows that the 1.5C climate target was not ambitious enough. If there's a 'safe' limit, it's more like 1C, scientists said this week.
Scientists Push for More Ambitious Climate Targets - Inside Climate News
Researchers say a line has been crossed. For systems like coral reefs and ice sheets, the climate is already past safe.

This reads like a breathless Reform press release.
Not the slightest reflection that being seen as a dumping ground for failed Tories might not be entirely positive.
Or that it might help Tories detoxify.
Or that Reform is ticking down in all recent polls.
Dismal stuff.

Newspapers have painted a version of London to fit their own biases, often veering into the absurd.

Even if the data show progress on crime or safety, a narrative of fear can overshadow the facts.
