What's not being said is that, if Johnson wants to make a deal, he has to agree to swear in Grijalva first - the House can convene to do it during a shutdown - it has in the past.

Johnson won't, so no negotiations.

CPD moved through the feds to form another barrier between protestors and feds. Enrages the crowd. Water bottle thrown. A second later, feds deploy gas, even on un-equipped CPD. People scatter, including CPD.

Bonta: Just minutes before the hearing, we got word that the Texas National Guard has been federalized.

We asked the judge to issue a broad order — one that applies to every National Guard unit in every state — stating that none of them can be deployed to Oregon.

She issued that order

Stephen Miller has turned rabid. It’s reaching a point where the judiciary and police force really have to step up and protect the citizens from constitutional abuse and misuse of the military. Unregulated, politically motivated ICE is the tip of a very broad weapon once military are involved.

Everytime I see Schumer pretending to lead, I question supporting the Democratic party.

Not because he's old and white; Bernie is old white and I don't have a problem.
