As a black disabled individual please don’t send wellness checks to me. A piece of my door is now broken and if you did it cause you were worried I might be of harm to myself, I hate to break it to you but cops would have a higher chance of killing me than I ever have.

The overriding goal of too many journalists is to provide “balanced” coverage from a “neutral” position in equidistance to both sides. That framework is much easier to justify if you pretend to be dealing with “normal” politicians – as opposed to committed ideologues pursuing an extreme project.

[3 hours researching the source of the city’s water, the minerals it contains, and how it compares to other cities across the country.] I should clean these spots. That cleaning spray I used last time worked well on the stove, but it smelled bad. Lemme see what cleaning products I have under the sink. Is this the best way to organize this?
