Parents got me a bird id book focused on birds in the state, along w a bird feeder that has a camera and stuff :} birds :} gotta get some bird seed and figure out where to set it up, but once I do. Expect to see many bird photos lol

Everyone's dropping tips for people making the switch to Bsky but I'll drop a tip that applies to artists moving to any new platform:
Don't be embarrassed about your older art, and treat them like a backlog! You don't have to start completely fresh by only posting newer art.

For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

I think my boss's boss just told me I can leave early today, but he said it really quietly and kind of mumbled so I'm not sure. Esp since he 100% said that we're going to be let out early tomorrow, most likely at noon

There is something wrong with my right pinkie and it's getting a bit annoying. Hurts to pour from a gallon of milk, or to really put much sideways or gripping pressure on it at all.

they didn't need AI to make Silksong, it just needed some deeply insane guys to have a blank check for living expenses until their next thing was done, I think we should try doing more of that instead
