They’re all super great, tbh. They also have a very small colony of cats they feed and vet and rehome as they show up.
Is the pay great? Hahahahahha. No

I have never been a germaphobe but I’ve gotten very aware of how gross other humans are lol
The kid germ sharing just comes with the territory - I well remember those days when my kids were in school.

So with her having that low immunity, the ladies are very open to sick days. Like, keep your cooties home and help keep each other healthy.
They literally have a stockpile of masks and hand sanitizer AND everyone is vaccinated against covid!! Do you know how rare that is in SC?? I love them all😂

Right now The Muffin is blissed out on meds - being his usual sweet self. I’m a little worried about his recovery but I think we will set him up in my son’s room, away from the other cats.

The office space is very close quarters - all of the ladies are suuuuuper nice but one has school aged children. Kids are always sharing germs.
One of the ladies is immune compromised also - the place is veryyyyy clean but there’s only so much to do when you’re that physically close.

I’ve seen so much violence in my life. I honestly don’t need to see more. It’s important to know what is going on, absolutely, but for my own mental well being I can’t watch this anymore.

He’s acting totally normal, thank goodness. We will call our regular vet tomorrow and get him scheduled for surgery probably next week since the emergency vet took all of our money (well worth it - not mad at the vet, just mad I’m not rich lol)

It’s glaucoma and he’s going to need to have the eye removed. Fortunately our regular vet can do it. Unfortunately, Ragamuffin doesn’t seem too thrilled at the prospect of being a pirate.
