“Too much need for AI to make it all work…” is a bizarre statement given how many countries enacted UCH before the foundations of deep learning were even established in research.

I understand the argument here, but it is a bit misleading. Inflation is a measure of reduced purchasing power of *goods and services*, while interest rates reduce purchasing power of *debt*.

When the Federal Reserve jacks up mortgage rates, credit card rates & auto loan rates on millions of Americans, the federal government doesn't count that inflation as inflation. It effectively pretends that those price increases aren't price increases.
