look... the entity has banned 37 intl aid orgs from operating in Gaza. as the post explains, since these orgs distribute a lot of food, the population will remain at severe food insecurity.

it's all the more important to support mutual aid orgs like Sameer now, as they do their own food distros.

1000 days ago we woke up to my then 3 year old asking me if I could turn that horrible sound (of gunshots and explosions) off, because it’s scary. My heart goes out to everyone, especially those parenting while surviving this war in Sudan and elsewhere. May it all end inshallah. Everywhere.

You don’t have to keep watching any death videos. It doesn’t make you more empathic or connected

Atp, I’m suspicious of all these news outlets replaying the video & showing us new angles

You know what happened already. This is not for your benefit

Watching the people who call today's news unprecedented having to be reminded of 2020 when I remember that people surprised by 2020 had to be reminded of Ferguson... I'm getting too old for this.

Truly. I need all non-Black folk to understand that your surprise at how Good is being handled and her death is being laundered right now is an indictment of your understanding and belief in things Black folk have been saying for your whole life. You cannot both believe us and be surprised by this.

I saw the news about Namecheap taking down that archive of videos documenting war crimes in Palestine on Twitter. I need to find an alternative, but the whole tech world is so complicit, IDK where I'm gonna go.

I also love to use this drawing as an example of how light DOES NOT change the entire complexion of dark skinned people.
