I feel like the more I learn about how the ruling elite and their many alliances control and monitor the internet, the harder it is for me to engage/want to engage with social media. I believe there is a purpose for social media, but just like all good things, the government has to ruin that too...

Trump is the embodiment of 4chan.
Its more than just the administration, the administration is just a symptom of a larger disease. The whole system is the problem. The US has been hounding Venezuela for decades because of their oil, and all admins economically pressured and continued to destabilize Venezuela.
Venezuelan friends telling me stuff's blowing up in Caracas and power is out in parts of the city. Fuck this war criminal administration. Send them to hell.

This has been said a lot recently, but it needs constant repeating. Class consciousness exists at the top, at their strength is exerted while the lower classes remain unconscious.
