Here's a take. When this is over, we need a completely new constitution. Too much of this was caused by the interpretations of the Supreme Court and the judiciary. Conservatives played a very long game to use the judiciary to get here. We need much more stringent bindings on the executive (1/?).
I have been thinking about GOT a lot this week. Idk why I care about the Martells/Starks. If I'd been born in their world, my disabilities would have killed me as an infant. And if I survived all that, I would be a lowborn commoner.

I used to think a lot of people intentionally read things in bad faith, but more and more I think a lot of people just fundamentally can't read at a basic level, and I don't know what to do about that on platforms that depend on that kind of illiteracy to drive engagement.

It is frustrating seeing people lose faith in the very ideal of democracy. It requires relentless engagement. We gave that up and we're losing it. But people are seeing it as a failed project when it is wasn't and still isn't being engaged with correctly.

I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

I need to read more theory (basically haven't read much besides some essays by Butler and others). Because I have questions. Mainly around justice reform vs abolitionism, the practicality of anarchism, and possible applications of Scandinavian policies in a heterogeneous society.

I am not online enough to understand the discourse around some of the shit going on in my trans circles. Explain to me why making DIY resources more accessible to trans people is somehow transmedicalist? This makes no sense, at all.

- neopronouns & xenogenders are hella cool.
- everyone should be able to get HRT if they want.
- you don’t need to medically transition or have dysphoria to be trans.
- liberation not assimilation.
