the only context in which i can think of "have" substituting for "make" is stuff like "i'm going to have a sandwich". which *is* a different meaning from "i'm going to make a sandwich" (perhaps you already have a sandwich prepared somewhere)

The longer it takes players to figure out “we can carry this thing out of here but only if we’re all naked” the less likely it is that the PCs will strip naked to carry a marble slab out of the dungeon. Is what I’m saying.

I’ve had a lot of fun playing other systems that use encumbrance but those systems used slots or round numbers. so that players could make decisions quickly.

that is mostly a good description of 5E but its carry weight system is a Strong Dislike from me. If people are supposed to play without a VTT then nothing should weigh 62.5 pounds

my dream version of the Skyrim Civil War quest line has you fighting the Thalmor regardless of which side you take because the Thalmor don’t want either side to win.

many people online seem to think this makes Ulfric a willing agent of the Thalmor but personally i think it’s just convenient for the Thalmor that he’s there (much like the Nerevarine is a convenient tool for the Empire in Morrowind)

Personally I’m a big fan of the document you find in the Thalmor Embassy that suggests the Thalmor imprisoned Ulfric and then let him escape specifically because he’s a destabilizing influence. it’s like a brief glimmer of Morrowind in there
