A fun thing you can do is pop onto Zillow, look at all rentals in a random chunk of the greater LA area, sort by recently changed, then check every price increase to see if it was more than 10%. If there's no obvious changes (didn't go from unfurnished to furnished) then report it for price gouging.

When you try to take away a monster's talent after finding out he's a monster, you are tacitly making a claim that enough talent can excuse monstrous behavior.
A month or so ago I saw a post by someone saying "we should all admit that Neil Gaiman has always been a shitty writer." That whole knee jerk revisionism. No, man, that's part of the whole horror. He's an internationally recognized writer. Objectively a good writer. But he's also a fucking monster.
