1. Chicago doesn’t want this help. Wild (but unsurprising) that the word “no” doesn’t register w/ Trump.
2. The “help” isn’t “free.” It’s our taxes paying for tear gas canisters instead of schools, jobs, and healthcare.

When my godson enlisted, I sat him down and told him that no matter what, if he thought an order was illegal or against his conscience, he could ignore it. He might get into legal trouble, but better to do that than to break his own moral compass. He served his time and got out.
