Six months this paper has been on the board. Six months, but many of them with few hours spent on line. Shall I say this took more than half a year to make, if I ever get through it?

It’s sick that there is a conservative career path where you can make 6 figures for being too dumb to write a paper or lose in sports. The ultimate participation trophy

Brett Kavanaugh (September 2025): The facts and how they relate to the law don’t matter. Assume ICE and other federal forces always act with integrity, always respect rights, and consistently impose minimal burden.

SCOOP: Flock left at least 60 of its AI-powered, people-tracking surveillance cameras exposed and livestreaming to the open internet. We tracked ourselves. The exposure highlights the power of these cameras and types of things they're tracking. Not just cars.

Maybe it’s silly but I feel some relief from being able to do this again for even a couple hours/day without the discomfort being too steep a barrier to getting started. If happiness will never be my thing then I will take a little more peace of mind.

Restricting same-sex couples was no longer politically tenable, said law professor Marie-Amelie George, but “trans rights issues were a really successful wedge issue that could bring people to the polls and lead to restrictions on not just trans rights but also gay, lesbian, bisexual rights.”
