Good morning.

A regular reminder: a tiny few hoard staggering wealth and own much of the media, while millions struggle to survive.

That’s not an accident. It’s a choice made by those in power.

Tax wealth. Fund public services. Build an economy for everyone - not the 1%.

Farage and Reform would end our NHS.

Millions of people could not afford to be ill under a Reform government.

Donald Trump and figures on the UK and international right have long painted London as a dangerous city where crime is out of control

But in 2025, the homicide rate dropped to a record low. I interviewed the Met Police commissioner and mayor on perception vs reality

How can ecology be for everyone when green choices are a luxury good? Over a third of the UK can't afford them.

The Greens' answer is to flip the script: tax extreme wealth to fund a public-led transition. The question isn't personal virtue; it's economic justice.

There’s very little justification for remaining on Twitter now. I’m glad I left.
Just seen Grok putting the body of the victim of the ICE shooting in Minneapolis into a bikini. Digital corpse desecration now available to the public.

Britain has long sought the removal of the Maduro government in Venezuela, with evidence suggesting that the policy is guided by an interest in the country’s vast oil resources.

A record of meetings seen by Declassified provides further evidence that Britain’s attempt to remove Venezuela’s government is guided by an interest in the country’s vast oil resources.

Why is the US illegally attacking Venezuela with UK support? Ah right, oil. It’s always oil.

Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

Despite what you hear from fossil fuel-funded politicians, the U.K has just generated a record amount of clean, domestic wind energy.

Enough to power 23 million homes!

A very useful list of why Labour isn’t a moral party any more.
Whereas Labour:

- Participated in genocide
- Are trying to remove protection from torture
- Are trying to lock up 2000 people protesting against genocide
- Cut off healthcare for trans children
- Have broken human rights law for disabled people
- Keep trying to remove support for disabled people

Apple probably didn’t really have the choice not to do this, but it’s still good to remember that second-hand iPhones work just as well as new ones.

Sadly, @bsky.app claiming that age verification is about safety and not censorship shows that it’s not committed to “open and decentralized public conversation”. I was right to lose hope when they chose Jesse Singal over trans people. bsky.social/about/blog/0...

I was at the Lakenheath Peace Camp earlier this year, and learned why the anti-nuclear campaign isn’t just protest history. The threat is still there, we should still be protesting.

I’m curious if “express an opinion or belief that is supportive of a proscribed organisation” is going to extend to what people do on social media, and how far. Taken literally, it means they’d arrest someone for liking a post.
The Metropolitan Police has just issued a statement saying it will arrest people for expressing support for Palestine Action at protests this weekend

It says "officers will act" over the new terror offences that came into force at midnight

Just received news that 27 people have been arrested in Parliament Square under the Terrorism Act 2000 for holding signs saying "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action".
This is real police state behaviour.

So this is why Labour is so determined to stop people protesting about Palestine?
The Labour government has embarked on a big new push to sell still more arms around the world.

Britain’s arms trade is untransparent but the value of arms exports contracts secured by UK companies in 2012-23 was £92bn, according to Campaign Against Arms Trade.

They're now rejecting the findings of that investigation which showed access to care reduced suicides and improved "positive mental health and psychosocial functioning outcomes."
Utah lawmakers’ own study found gender-affirming care benefits trans youth. Will they lift the treatment ban?
