state of game:
-character can move but no animations except idle
-camera frozen in middle, no clue how to move it when hitting edges of rooms
-hearts exists, though i have yet to do health
-enemies exist but they don't move and they don't deal damage since, again, no HP system

Since God's Fall is out of the picture, I guess it's time to work on something else...
So there's this one shovelware game in my library and I have NO clue how it got here but it's so ass that I feel like it'd be a good learning experience to try and remake it in Godot seeing how bad it is

Ever since I made this realization, I've realized my mental health's been going to shit. God's Fall was the one thing I wanted to do in life, but now that I know I can't do it... nothing feels right anymore.
I can't do this. Stories are fun to make... Characters are nice to think of... Heck, I could even tank a couple spritesheets. but code's a bitch i'm not gonna push myself through to do. I'm sorry for the 2 people who were interested, but unless I find someone who codes, God's Fall ain't happening.
I'm starting to lose hope on God's Fall. I can't even code a Prestige Tree mod right, i'll never be able to make a whole RPG by myself, art code and all... I'm just now realizing how much of an unrealistic goal God's Fall is... it's in the name: a dream game. Only a dream, never real...

This comes to my mind ever so often. I really hope Stryder7x is doing okay. He's made genuinely some of the most therapeutic and entertaining content for my tastes, and I feel so somber every time I remember he hasn't uploaded in four years, and may never again. I know he's a good guy.
