All our games are on sale on Steam right now!

Flock, Hohokum, I am Dead, Loot Rascals, Wilmot's Warehouse and Wilmot Works it Out...

here's a handy link to our bundle:

...and here are a couple of cute cats from I am Dead who want you to click on it:
A tabby cat with a white tummy sits on a bin looking down at a black cat sitting on the ground. They are hanging around the back of the kipper smoking shack in Shelmerston, which is a location in the videogame I am Dead.

It will not stand. It'll cause damage but it will not stand.

What an insult to us all to pretend otherwise. What an insult to humanity to say we don't need to make and understand art. How disgusting, ridiculous and utterly pathetic.

Art will never be worthless. It's a shared universal language in countless dialects, across time, around the world. It's a living thing, too. It can be insulted and ridiculed and neglected and disrespected but humans make art, and it will always matter.

It’s a "crisis" when immigrants "take jobs away", but "innovation" when machines do. Funny.

An industry that's set to replace artists with an endless churn of reconstituted slop, trying to suppress all critical understanding of the ways people may be controlled. This is a plan for automatic emotional manipulation engines to replace human culture.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.

Today all my friends and several ex boyfriends agreed that I look like Rebecca Sugar. This is not correct. I looked like that first

This prime day, why not make a zine from bits of paper around the house and bits of thought around the head

Still enjoying that I'm not in the sub basement
View from a dim hotel room of the pale evening sky and the top floors of a solid old brick building. There are black shutters on the window, open at the moment.

I'm really happy when the teachers decide that they'll make copies of the zines the children make, collect them in a library maybe. Make more zines later. And when the children decide to form editorial teams. It's such fun

But also now I need to lie down and stay down for the rest of the day.

Ah! I am exhausted. That's all right. - The children I worked with today were delightful and excited and funny. They came up with beautiful creatures and stories. It's so much fun seeing that happen! I also taught them the German word for potato because drawing a potato shape is always a good start

I had some bad and actual coffee.

I passed the coffee machine repair man on my way up. I asked him if there was any hope. He said "it is fixed"
A miracle

Important news from the bone pit:

The council have grassed over the flowerbed in the graveyard so though bones will continue to rise and still surface occasionally, their main escape route has been cut off, and their appearance should be less regular.

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections
