Calling all #trans #nonbinary and #genderqueer #fandom people!
I'm looking for #participants for my doctoral #research project (I am exploring how trans* ppl use their engagement with #fanworks as an avenue for gender exploration)

Participant recruitment flier for a study exploring how trans* people use fan works in their gender exploration. It lists participation eligibility as if you are: 1) trans, nonbinary, genderqueer/otherwise gender-diverse, 2) 16 years or older, and 3) someone who engaged with online queer fan works. It also describes participation as involving 1-2 online interviews where the researcher will ask about your experiences. The researcher will also invite you to share any works/media that are relevant. A QR code is included that links to the recruitment survey (and the link is in the post). It also includes the email of the researcher (j.overholser@ucalgary.ca) if you have any questions.

seeing people (americans) be kind of blown away by the fact that the martial law solders in korea were armed and yet, as far as we know, not a single person was shot and it's really making me realize how conditioned we are to accept fatal violence against our own citizens as a foregone conclusion.

Distinguishing between sexual and romantic orientations is common in asexual communities... yet there's no research specifically about the split attraction model.
