I mean, just *look* at this cover image. This is the energy I am bringing with me into 2026.

Joy as resistance! Joy as rebellion! If all they want is for us to suffer and die, then you better shove your pride right back in their faces!

I felt it was more important than ever to make sure we’re still talking about, thinking through, and reminding ourselves that micro-moments of joy and progress toward flourishing futures 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦. So, let me introduce you to the Feb issue of AJPH.

Our February 2026 issue is now online!

It features a special section on LGBTQ+ health and well-being with select articles covering sex-positive disease prevention messaging, mental health of gender-diverse adolescents, and adoption in the LGBTQ+ community.

Most ppl think the COVID pandemic & its effects are way in the rear view mirror. But what if humanity is only at the beginning of experiencing the long term effects of repeated infections w/ the virus? It seems like a lifetime, but it’s actually only been 4 years since most ppl gave up precautions.
This is an important moment.

After more than five years of silence, mainstream media has begun to acknowledge that C19 can harm T cells, and to discuss the consequences that follow. @fitterhappierAJ was one of the first, if not the first, to talk about this.

Tim Walz is effectively blaming the people being subjected to violence for the occurrence of said violence.

Fucking disgusting.
State investigators have been on the scene in North Minneapolis.

I know you’re angry. I’m angry. What Donald Trump wants is violence in the streets.

But Minnesota will remain an island of decency, of justice, of community, and of peace.

Don’t give him what he wants.

South Minneapolis, I just woke up with my eyes burning, from all the gas on the other side of town, so we need to be paying attention to this too
I was supposed to be in bed an hour ago but sending links and videos to people so they know to avoid the green gas (zinc chloride).

Once a lab steward, always a lab steward.

Seriously, I was a chemist twenty years ago, you do NOT want heavy metal toxicity. It fucks you up in weird ways.

HIS SIX MONTH OLD STOPPED BREATHING!

A father was getting his kids out of the neighborhood because it was unsafe & ICE threw flash bangs & tear gas at his car with children & a baby inside!

His 6 month old stopped breathing & all the children were hospitalized!

Yeah man all my friends in Minnesota are buying high viz vests and forming human chains at class dismissals because ICE is targeting and tear gassing schools. I wonder why parents would want information about that.

Condé Nast forgot to renew the trademark for Gourmet and so a group of journalists grabbed it and are relaunching the food magazine as a worker-owned co-op. Love it. [gourmetmagazine.net]

How presidential.

Meanwhile dems won’t say “abolish ice” because they’re fighting some rhetoric war with themselves (and don’t want to lose that lobbying money).

A few months ago, ICE hired me

I didn't sign and submit any paperwork. I almost certainly failed the drug test. I'm real outspoken about my opposition to the Trump administration, and I am extremely googlable

And yet, there it was, in plain English. "Welcome to ICE!"

What happens when you do minimal screening before hiring agents, arming them, and sending them into the streets? We're all finding out.

DoJ massacre underway. Yesterday four attorneys quit because the DoJ refused to investigate Jonathan Ross, and today another six quit because they refused to unjustly prosecute Renee Good's widow.

Pretty soon DoJ's going to be nothing but a fascist clown car full of Liberty U grads.
"Six Prosecutors Quit Over Push to Investigate ICE Shooting Victim’s Widow"

Six lawyers in the U.S. Attorney's Office have done what their oath requires of them: resigned rather than participate in building a sham domestic terrorism case against Renee Good's widow.

It’s sorted by location.

If someone asks for an interview, ask the outlet or to see social media. You can also consult this list.
If you are on the ground at a protest and not sure if a journalist is safe to talk to, check out our hostile journalist lookbook! Sometimes it takes a minute to load, apologies for any pokeyness.

D) propaganda

E) all of the above
They assume we must all be getting paid to rise up cos:

A) they can't imagine a scenario where they would stand up for a stranger without financial incentive

B) they received financial incentives or free passes to cause trouble

C) there is insane funding behind them, and they draw small crowds
