Last night’s Waterfire lighting in PVD last night was sublime. A beautiful night surrounded by people just celebrating life. After the lighting everyone decamped to the vendor space set up near RISD. The sense of community brought all the feels 😊

On November 1, 2025, WaterFire Providence will host a Full Lighting event as a Salute to Veterans. The lighting ceremony begins at 5:30 PM and the braziers will remain lit until 10:00 PM along the rivers in downtown Providence. This event features a unique series of bonfire installations accompanied by music from original artists, creating a vibrant cultural and community experience. The event is supported by Rhode Island Energy, Manchester Street Station, and other local sponsors, and is free and open to the public.
