Who wants to fill out a questionnaire about running a Troika megadungeon in-person play campaign? It would be a HUGE HELP if you took 5 minutes and gave us some opinions. And an even BIGGER help if you shared this to whatever UK folks you know.

Every social media company: hey most of our users hate each other what if we gave them better ways to ratio each other in this crab barrel
Users: could we just have a QoL improvements?
Social Media: look we're competing with the shell of Twitter in a psyop space that's pretty well mined...

This was a Golden Age, a time of high adventure, rich living and hard dying... but nobody thought so. This was a future of fortune and theft, pillage and rapine, culture and vice... but nobody admitted it. This was an age of extremes, a fascinating century of freaks... but nobody loved it.

so who serves the machine elves and who is feeling the lemurian metaconsciousness hyperobject?
oh hey hitting one of the number based followers counts that is fun with 6-1-9
oh yeah his export really is just... (stares into the middle distance trying to manifest her hatred tulpa)
enemy of flavor, destroyer of tradition, slopifier of vibrant food
Jamie Oliver may be the worst example of "confident TV chef bro fucking up cultural cooking with nightmare slop no reasonable human would want to consume"
Henry Ford should probably be one of the most reviled human beings of all time an enemy of all living things. i'd rather be a Luddite than a simp for a capitalist whose attacks on labor laid the ground for the ghoulish nightmare hellscape of the U$A

“The videos show how Meta has built an entire supply chain for dangerous, privacy violating content on the internet. It sells glasses that allow people to surreptitiously film others in public and operates a social network where inflammatory, outrageous content is rewarded and monetized…”
Meta's Ray-Ban Glasses Users Film and Harass Massage Parlor Workers
“The shameless use of covert recording technology at massage parlours to gain likes, attention, and online notoriety is both disgusting and dangerous.”

143k Rhode Islanders will not receive SNAP.

A loss of $29 million a week to area supermarkets.
today answered for me "yes someone has livestreamed being a bystander to a shooting and closed with a full sign off"

i remain blissfully unaware if anyone livestreaming during a mass casualty event has asked "chat is this real" before exiting the mortal coil
i legit might have Kev's business card...

Do not groan and moan when I describe the cat as "sumptious". It was not I who made it like that.
i wish it was easier to differentiate "i want to become a successful capitalist entity as my primary interest in this knowing" vs "success is an unrelated side effect to my creative process" when telling people about game design
also i have never gotten a trade or industry job without knowing people who required often learning to socialize with people (such as the guys who ran the auto body shop next to my old apartment) who did hook me up with free repairs for helping their paint guys daughter apply to college
also despite the fact that convenience/liquor store clerk is a job viewed as a failjob running inventory for that made me more (and took substantially more organization) than teaching college students (my other job at the time)
me, about to go into grad school: sometimes i rerun the coffee to save money
my friend who went to HVAC school: i own a house and car but also all of my body hurts all the time
our friend working in a kitchen: check out what happened to my palm from shucking oysters
all of us: smoke
this is actually a solid case study in why ‘just go into the trades’ is a bunch of foolishness: if you don’t know how to think or organize your thoughts or god forbid memorize then you’ll be just as much of a failure in jobs that don’t require a college degree as you will in jobs that do
New ICE recruiting methods have resulted in half of this group of absolute winners failing AN OPEN BOOK TEST

Rolled many small boulders up the hill for 2026 today, & I'm in awe at the variety.
Feels like such a trope-y answer—like a metal guitarist saying "yeah it's both our heaviest & most melodic album yet"—but it's also true.
Next year is bleak AF & Electric Neon.

Who's in for next year's book club?

I'm usually wandering to the Arcade (obviously) + errand and/or grabbing a drink or meal / seeing something downtown but the geography of the highway cut through the city really is like looking at the decision to destroy urban fabric and starve public amenities
i realize me describing directions is borderline useless since i am bad at memorizing street names but it is at least easy to remember what the trolly lines should be running like (i want to attack the plaque commemorating destroying them for cars)
it is depressing that taking (Tree Name) behind the billboard near the Taiyaki place and walking past a series of leveled parking lots to go under an overpass behind Dunks (now Amica) is it would be an obvious slam dunk park expanding the popular lawn bowling one is a bit far for me now
walking over the choices are Broadway (best/least horrible), Atwells (HA HA HA also fuck me for being 5'4" because visibility sucks) or (the one by the public safety complex which is extremely dangerous because of the ability of public servants to flash lights to avoid pausing)
i think the crossing of the highway between federal hill and downtown remains a place where i have most often nearly touched the infinite
