Just to clarify: the show is called Robin Hood, not Gen Z Robin Hood 😅
Watched the first three episodes of Gen Z Robin Hood and the historical inaccuracies don’t bother me the least. The show is a CW-like teen drama with social critique. The normans vs saxons conflict is more of an allegory of our times (I guess Asterix did it first), yet quite naïve and unpretentious.

Put my hands (and nose) on Barénia Intense. It’s less tart & sparkling and wears closer to the skin than the original EDP. Otoh, I think it’s more polished and wearable (from the POV of someone like myself who prefers intimate projection and sillage). More thoughts on the following days. #perfumesky

I’m among those who didn’t hate Lost’s final season and even liked it when it first aired and, looking back, subverting the rules by completely messing up with characters’ contexts in the flash sideways while keeping their identities and core motivations intact was actually an wonderful concept.

If the FFT doesn’t give Grandparino a Paris Masters wild card, I will riot. In theory, it should be Bonzi, Rinder, him and Atmane, but they already did Grandpa dirty by not respecting his ranking when awarding the RG wild cards.

Finally watched last season’s finale and I’m so glad to have saved that joyful delight for later. That silly show makes murder a creative affair. Dried ramen, really?

#SOTD Fève Gourmande creates the smell and dusty texture of cocoa powder. Rum and spices make it comfortably boozy, while bitter green tea and a discreet yet very present rose tame the decadence. Performance and longevity are poor and the lovely boozy cocoa impression transient. #Perfumesky

#SOTD Back to Barénia. Tart, slightly soapy, and definitely woody. The leather is subtle and needs some effort to be detected and, in the best days, remains with the patchouli-like woods in the drydown. In my interpretation, Barénia’s leather is the astringent fruit peel. #perfumesky #fragrancesky

Not posting #sotd lately because I’ve been mostly testing and wearing Vetiver Parfum (2024). Bitter, deep, smoky and warm. Despite the name, I think that Mr. Vetiver is sharing protagonism with Bitter Juniper, Sweet Licorice and Warm Tonka. Almost committing to a full bottle.
