Jackie Brown is basically the novel by the late great Elmore Leonard. He didn't have too much to do on that one.
Saw Jackie Brown and Kill Bill vol 1 when they came out but not since. Thought the first was OK and hated the second but early-twenties me had very different aesthetics to late-forties me.
Had no desire to watch any of his others.

@benkuchera.bsky.social I would not say that Quentin Tarantino is a hack ,but he is not an originator of his material. And like most filmmakers out there, do not bring about the cinematic experience.
