Meiselas: Brazil convicted Trump ally Jair Bolsonaro, sentencing him to 25+ years. Trump’s regime just retaliated by slapping Magnitsky Act sanctions on the judge’s wife and hitting Brazil with 50% tariffs—punishing U.S. farmers as China scoops up Brazil’s soybeans.

She said she supports the democratic candidate.
So it wasn’t gushing.
It doesn’t have to be.

We don’t need to fall in love with the candidate.

RFK Jr.'s little dig at "Believe All Women" when talking about autism, vaccines and Tylenol (all while blaming moms who take Tylenol for autism) reminded me of @lebassett.bsky.social's piece last year saying Trump's re-election was revenge for #MeToo.

Oh, SMACK. Alex Padilla nails it! 📣

If they were going after "law-breakers," they wouldn't be stalking immigrants who are dutifully following the legal process.

If they were going after people for not paying their way, they wouldn't be hunting down taxpayers!

Just to be clear: Brian Kilmeade *did not* endorse euthanizing homeless people. He advocated MURDERING over 700,000 of them.

And on a network that has been *beside itself* over the murder of just one man this week.

I hadn’t seen this. Kirk, the moderate free speech guy who did politics the right way per some liberals (!), called for Biden to be executed.

Meanwhile Joe Biden put out a very strong statement condemning Kirk’s killing.

Both sides!

This was a trial balloon initiated by Trump.
Brian Kilmeade felt completely safe calling for genocide. His two colleagues didn't bat an eye. Does anyone really think this wasn't rehearsed, scripted, and fully endorsed by Fox News?

Thank you, Karen Attiah, for speaking truth to power. We are with you. We believe you. And we believe in you.
For the record.

My posts were not even about Kirk directly, but about America's apathy towards political violence, and the coddling of white male shooters and hate peddlers.

I was fired because I mentioned race: white men and violence-- that was my "gross misconduct."

A friend of mine was on Charlie Kirk's "watch list" of Black professors. She received so many death and rape threats that her university offered her a security detail for the walk to class.

This is Kirk's legacy.

You would never know it from reading all of these legacy newspaper op-eds about him.

You know what's always the first example conservatives use to claim I'm "too liberal"?
