My beloved has written a novel. Brian Dale Babiak MD. Actually, he’s written seven, wildly varied like a constellation where the stars are at wildly different distances, but make a picture to our eye.

This is him catering to my sense of whimsey and love of a happy ending.

Within an elaborate border with dragons at the corners and nachos floating around a spreadsheet at the bottom, in large, old-fashioned type, “GRANDMA’S ILLEGAL DRAGON RACING CIRCUIT,” and then, in smaller, simpler text, “A SCIENTIFICALLY IMPROBABLE ADVENTURE IN ACTUARIAL HEROISM—Being the Conplete, Annoted, & Emotionally Devastating Account of How Speadsheets Saved the Multiverse, With Dragons, Nachos, and the Discovery That Everyone Matters.”

These Supreme Court oral arguments on conversion therapy are going to be painful. No matter what is said, know that trying to force someone to be what they're not is psychological torture with measurable negative consequences, and anyone trying to defend such efforts is a bigoted monster.

I know there's a lot to keep up with but someone has ALREADY been killed by ICE in Chicago, its not a theoretical question, and folks are dying in ICE detention and being disappeared constantly, when you say "someone's gonna get killed" youre actually washing the blood from their hands 😘✌️

I think even if I wasnt a radical already, nothing is more radicalising than watching someone you love struggle through the hoops of bureaucracy just to get benefits. The stress that brings forth, the uncertainty, the suicidality. The entire system needs to go and get replaced with a guaranteed UBI.
