This week's new issue of #ScienceTranslationalMedicine is out now!

An experimental trial could reshape patient monitoring and therapy research in glioblastoma, RNA vaccines can protect large animals from new strains of H5N1, and more. https://scim.ag/3KYkXvi
The cover shows a three-dimensional rendering of a brain MRI from a patient with glioblastoma who participated in a clinical trial evaluating an oncolytic virotherapy and testing feasibility of serial biopsy acquisition.

It also didn’t say if it’s r01, r21, r03, or project lead on spore/p01 etc…just active nih grants. So presumably if you had 2 active r21s, you are pretty much done for?

I don’t think any NOA has been released from June council. Can your application remain being considered if nci budget later is adjusted as long as it remains pending in era commons?

it will apply to application reviewed in June nci council too. I don’t think any NOA has been released from that council meeting.

Greatly enjoyed @twanlammers.bsky.social visiting Houston! Enjoying some classic Texan protein in preparation for his high caloric burning seminar.

I wish I have a magic 8 ball that tells me before hand exactly which experiments that I should conduct that will yield positive results.
