It was a terribly-written essay. The fact that she could, in good conscience, turn in that essay—let alone bring national attention to it—is terrifying. It seems as though no one has ever held her to a reasonable writing standard in high school or university.

I second the motion! People need to understand which parts of the yield curve the Fed & bond markets control.
I'd *REALLY* like an explainer about why interest rates can't be set arbitrarily and what happens if you try. A good chance to toss in some inflation as well!

Is there no way reporters can ask followups that bring them back to an objective answer, like "I understand your interpretation, but for our viewers/readers, could you please back up a step and just describe the events--what could you observe happening, not what you think their motives were?"
