Got fancy mailer from unimelb asking for donation with suggestions of what that $ might cover. Weekly rent at $300 seems in ballpark but on what planet will $5 cover milk and bread for A WEEK for growing adolescent? And $50 for semesters internet? It’s tell-them-they’re- dreaming not dream large.

We all need to become eco-populists. That means championing policies that significantly lower daily costs while lowering emissions. Heat Pumps for All, alongside much more robust tenant rights; free and better public transit; price caps on green energy; make polluters pay for the transition.
