Their message that men are inherently violent and that it’s an acceptable way of life for women should also offend you if you’re not that man. It should be offensive that women are told it’s acceptable to live a life in fear. It’s also fascist to use fear to control others; it assaults democracy.

The #mle narrative is a zero sum game, winner/loser mentality that wages war on women. For men who are serious about having successful relationships with women, it’s time to play the infinite game. If women “lose” - so do you. Do your part and fight for equal rights - practice what you preach.

Oppressors always violently oppose giving up the exploitation of a class of people. It was true with chattel slavery. Now, its women. These guys are openly saying in interviews that women should be afraid of men as a legitimate reason to give in to subjugation. Even Leftist journalists. Appalling.

When prominent men and older women with platforms tell younger women that men are violent dehumanizing creatures to be feared, and where there is a silence of opposition to those statements, what you have is cultural consensus. There are 0 prominent men saying publicly “we want women to feel safe”.

Shut the fuck up about the “male loneliness epidemic”. Women experience loneliness too but they aren’t becoming fascist and committing acts of violence because of it. Men are not owed access to women’s bodies. Men are not entitled to sex.

& that's all we wanted, just evolve with us!

the whole "male loneliness epidemic" is self imposed by boys that think dominating women through abuse & misogyny or dominating other men through violence & homophobia is the ONLY definition of a man. let that patriarchy GO, it's benefitting NOBODY

Personally, I have never felt more masculine than when people feel safe to be themselves around me.
But these guys want to feel obeyed *and* adored.
You can't have both. No one adores someone with whom they don't feel safe.

And the wankers whining about the male loneliness "epidemic" are the same ones who define masculinity by how many people are fearful and intimidated by them. Yet, they won't change their views on masculinity, they want everyone else to adore them despite a perpetual threat of violence from them.

“Shame must change sides” Gisele urges, because no woman is responsible for a man raping her.

Male violence against women & girls is an epidemic.

"the male loneliness epidemic" oh you mean the intentional alienation of men from their empathy as a means of reinforcing patriarchy through emotional and physical violence & breeding angry, emotionally empty people to feed to the military industrial complex?

Yeah that's not exactly a new thing.

I think the reason I struggle to care about the "male loneliness epidemic" - other than the *actual* epidemic of violence against women - is that these same men who are complaining of loneliness are the ones who have for nearly 40 years made my life as a gender non-conforming gay man a living hell
A very good point…

This perspective suggests that the "male loneliness epidemic" is sometimes used to deflect from or diminish the reality of misogyny and violence against women, with some describing it as a manifestation of rape culture—where resentment towards women's autonomy leads to coercive and harmful behaviors

“Male loneliness epidemic” is just another excuse for violence against women. Women are lonely all the time, but not bigots on Reddit about it. It centers men’s feelings without actually addressing them, because the proposed solution’s not “go outside and make friends” it’s “Fuck/marry me or else.”

From the beginning, women have been punished for fighting back against abusive men. We're told that using violence to combat abuse is wrong & should never be an option.
Look at where that's gotten us - an epidemic of male violence leaving us fighting for our lives every single day.

This. ⬇️ we all need to take misogyny & male violence against women as a huge problem (not caused by the victims). Raise boys to respect and listen to women, be vulnerable and ditch the toxic ‘provider/lord’ 🐂💩.
The male loneliness epidemic is caused by a lack of social/relationship skills.
