The games industry brings in 300 billion dollars a year. The guy who made DOOM gets his projects canceled, the guy who made Katamari Damacy is broke, everyone in your feed is begging for a job and there are 50 new games coming out on Steam every day all going towards buying Gabe Newell's next yacht
Keita Takahashi (Katamari, Wattam, Noby Noby Boy) has moved back to Japan, and says he may be forced to quit the games industry due to To a T underperforming.
He also says he'd love to work on Katamari again, and for someone to invest in his studio.

I think people forget how much time it takes to play the same 5 hours of content over and over again to get big.
Or better, ask any of the people on the Megabonk leader boards how many hours they spent to get there. (Before the 6-12 hours of sitting on place watching numbers go skyward.)

Damn I don't get to do a Spotify Wrapped this year because Spotify accepts advertisements for ICE recruitment and I'm not about that.
That said, Tidal gave me a recap. And amazingly my own album isn't even in my top 10... But you can tell Eurovision 2025 had an Impact.
