I'm not a programming guy but MSNBC and CNN should be airing this Cory Booker thing in the same way you take over programming if there's a no-hitter or a basketball player with 60 points in three quarters. It's a physical feat! Cut in for this kind of thing. Costs nothing, gooses ratings, good TV.

i do like that the dems are finally doing something & it's clearly popular, but this filibuster should've been a real one against the CR that schumer whipped cloture votes on. theres a lot of real appetite from the base for resistance - hope its not just for optics.

I hate to say I told you so but… I told you so.

Where are ⁦‪⁦‪Manchin and Sinema now? Where, for that matter, is ⁦‪Chuck Schumer‬⁩?

Predictable and predicted:

Elon Musk is the richest man in the world, That's not an opinion, it's an objective fact. Everything he touches doesn't die. If that were true, he would not be the richest man in the world.

That's a mighty big assumption as to what I do in my off hours. But I won't be justifying myself furtherto someone who thinks it's okay to vote with fascists if you promise you have the right color tie.

None of them should ever receive a vote ever again. Consider the extremities they might be willing to cave to for the sake of political convenience and keeping their own power intact at your expense. This is why Vote Blue No Matter Who was always a loser's ideology.

None of them had to do this. It's better to lose your seat than fail to stand up for what's right. Stop voting for people who sell out their values when it's politically convenient.
Of the 10 Democrats who voted to censure Al Green, 6 of them are in safe blue districts. They didn't have to do this at all.

- Ami Bera (D+7)
- Ed Case (D+14)
- Jim Costa (D+9)
- Laura Gillen (D+5)
- Jim Himes (D+13)
- Chrissy Houlahan (D+5)

Laura Gillen (NY)
Jim Himes (CT)
Chrissy Houlahan (PA)
Marcy Kaptur (OH)
Jared Moskowitz (FL)

So the Party for Socialism and Liberation has some good candidates. In case you're wondering how to handle this. There is no incentive for change in the party if we keep voting for them no matter what they do.
10 Dems voted FOR this!!! We need their names NOW. That is BULLSHIT.
March 6, 2025 at 6:02 PM
Hey Democrats. If your leaders are suggesting you lie down and play dead, or there is nothing they can do in the face of fascism, they are collaborators. The Vichy said the same thing.

You should be looking at them the same way you look at Orangina and the Muskrat.

Vote blue no matter who got us Sinema and Manchin. It's okay to have standards. In fact, most people like you better when you have lines you won't cross. It proves you aren't a bootlicker, at least.
The impossible leftist purity standards of "don't be a sex monster" and "maybe don't let your political donors kill elderly people in their care while hawking your book about how you solved covid"
So funny to see the left’s circular firing squad forming around Cuomo. Disagree on policy, not purity.
