We actually could not do that, legally, with an ordinance. What we can do, and what I have advocated for during multiple budgets, is hire an Invasive Species Manager to organize invasive plant removal on private property with the support of homeowners. Unfortunately, mayor hasn't taken me up on it.

him: This language is all we have. We can't afford to lose it. Yes. SCOTUS is making terrible rulings and specifically targeting gender affirming care which is dangerous.
If Bostock is overturned it will set our legal protections back decades.

me: so it's your serious contention that if you had used trans inclusive language instead of transphobic language in the bylaw, that would have somehow endangered the existing legal precedent? and that obviously infinitesimally, incalculably small theoretical "risk" (which did not at all exist) was more important than actually listening to the trans members of our community?

him: DSA was orchestrating a homophobic attack against my household around the clock over Twitter: litigating anything over Twitter is pointless. DSA does not speak for the LGBTQIA community: they are a hate group not worth any engagement.
Arguing with DSA is like arguing with Neo-Nazis or the KKK. They are filled with hate and incapable of any good faith communication.
