I really enjoyed Junky when I read it about 20 years ago, so wanted to read Queer after it, but couldn’t find it. It showed up again when the film came out. Wasn’t as impressed as with Junky, not enough there narrative-wise

Tragic that this is still the most successful adaptation of the mythology of my homeland (I am originally from Tír na nÓg, a friend recently told me I have zero wrinkles)
