#atproto is cooool! I've put together a whole bunch of experiments. storing/restoring a directory of files, capturing blobs from the firehose, a distributed job queue, syncing markdown files as a series of posts, and being able to store articles in the pds and make it a website.

Sure AI is going to replace jobs, but are we really going to miss them? (I'm eagerly awaiting for the dumpster cleaning robots.). It's also going to make doing awesome shit cheaper, so if you are in the awesome shit business things just got better for you.

Went to the AI Engineering Code Summit. One takeaway: I'm not using enough tokens.
The models have gotten so much better. Gemini 3 and Opus 4.5 blow it away. Give terminal access and they figure out the rest.
