Dr Jane Goodall filmed an interview in March 2025 with the understanding it would only be released after her death. This is her final message.

I don’t think people understand that Israel has killed people aboard a flotilla before…

Hence why this response from Dawn Neesom was both incredibly ignorant and devoid of any understanding of what that ‘symbolic’ aid would have meant to a mother cradling her skeletal baby.

Keir Starmer pledges centralised service for researchers to mine health data

Which is fine - indeed welcome- if it was TRULY anonymised not pseudonimised, if they didn’t use USA data-mining firms like Palantir & if the institutions really did have very robust security

‘We’re getting poorer’ says Nigel Farage in his Beth Rigby interview.

I agree. The Brexit he championed is on course to cut UK trade by a staggering 15% - a huge reduction in the potential economic performance of the country at a time when every penny counts

Boris Johnson promised farmers that “subsidies would stay - 100% guaranteed”.

🚜 The National Farmers’ Union council was overwhelmingly in support of “Remain”, but decided not to campaign outright, as it would upset some of their larger farmers who were cheering Brexit.
What happened to those post-Brexit farm subsidies?
We need a discussion about UK food and farming, our resilience to external and self-inflicted events, and where the money is going

How privatisation works (and Thames Water is just the latest example).
1. A government takes a national asset built up with taxpayers' money and the work of public servants over many years, and hands it, for a fraction of its value, to a private company.
2. In doing so, it creates a monopoly.

We need grouse moor licensing in England now.

It's time for new legislation to make it happen.
It is a Time for Change in places like the Dark Peak. Grouse moor licensing can be a win-win solution to what so many are calling for - sustainable land management and more nature in our uplands.
