the definitive takedown of body cameras. This isn't about cameras "failing." It's about expanding surveillance, mitigating police brutality lawsuits, and profits for the companies that make them.

And when they visited the previous post in question, it would be tagged with "blorbo from my shows" (not literally that phrase, but tagged with the char who is that user's "blorbo").

The term took off, and people started using it to talk about their own fav character(s), and that's how we're here.

My understanding is it is a character from a piece of art/media that someone either fixates on or identifies strongly with.

It originates from a tumblr post where a user was talking about the phenomenon of people tagging a post with "prev tags" (i.e. I agree with the tags of the previous post)

We’re seeing a lot of the same dynamic nationally that happened here in MN post-George Floyd murder. The mass outcry across the world led to justice promised- then in time that was consciously morphed into a lot of toothless “reforms” that were easily ignored. Defund became extra-fund! (as you know)

(trying to check before explaining) are you looking for an explanation/definition?

I am really not bragging, this is just the bare minimum you can do to be of use
when I was a tenants rights lawyer, I got invited into a lot of movement spaces. even now I still do, because of that work. my identity as a cishet white square-ass white dude does not seem to have ever once been an issue. why? you have to demonstrate humility in those spaces.
right before covid I was working with a local group on tenant protections, and there was one (1) white dude who:

- came to every meeting
- listened and asked occasional thoughtful questions
- DID THE DISHES after every meeting (we were always in somebody's house)

EVERYBODY loved that dude.

This account was also in my DMs as well as my replies, which means they are also doing this to other people.

If you get questions like this, I strongly recommend blocking the asker and moving on. Don't mess with them or "keep them close to keep an eye on them", nothing good will come of that
