I'm trying to add dashcams to my car, but my 12v "cigarette" outputs are always on 24/7. It's too cold for a big wiring project rn so I need some other way of switched power.
USB port on the stereo is switched, but not enough juice for two cameras + extensions.
Any thoughts?

Two white friends tail me home if it's outside the hours when people are out and about. I'm damn near third generation Minnesotan. It's not just "you're a citizen you'll be fine." I'm a black woman alone. Who knows what they will do.
I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

Just so people outside of MN know - a lot of the US citizens getting “arrested” by ICE never get processed at Whipple. They are roughed up during the arrest and then often dropped off miles from where they were picked up. It means we don’t know the true scale of what ICE is doing based on ICE stats

According to MN State Law: when the owner of a car consents to someone else driving it they are still legally responsible for damages that driver causes, ESP when giving to someone who will knowingly cause damage (negligent entrustment)

so much to cover right now, but a thread i just want to throw out there from my reporting is that the car rental market in minneapolis is reportedly totally screwed up right now because ICE has cleared the inventory. rental companies should have to answer for supplying vehicles used in terror.
