Much of the media Stephen King engaged with when he was a kid shaped his lifelong love of horror, including this often frightening sci-fi radio show.

It's a biography of Robert Graysmith, it details the crimes, and does indeed come to a conclusion as to the killer's identity. It fetishizes the killer's mystery as much as any serial killer movie. We don't mind, though, because it's so damn good.

I dunno. There are some great ones.

I liked Matthew Bright's bonkers film "Ted Bundy." Patty Jenkins' "Monster" is excellent. "Zodiac" is one of the best crime films of its decade. Jim Van Bebber's "The Manson Family" is insane.

The boombox scene in Say Anything has become iconic, but star John Cusack actually had a problem with how it was filmed.

Stan Lee's Marvel Cinematic Universe cameos became fan favorites over the years, but one of his earliest cameos was on an animated kid's TV show.

A friend of mine happened into possession of a book signed by 14 people who were higher-ups at the Van Beuren Corporation.

They have been able to decipher many of the names, but others are harf to read. Could any animation experts help out? @jerrybeck.bsky.social

In honor of National Poetry Day, the greatest parody rewrite of all time:
Screen cap of parodic version of William Blake's "The Tyger" that begins:
Tyger! Tyger! Burning bright
(Not sure if I spelled that right)
What immortal hand or eye
Could fashion such a stripy guy?
What the hammer that hath hewn it
Into such a chonky unit?
Did who made the lamb make thee,
Or an external franchisee?

We could have had the Abarat cinematic universe, but Disney chickened out.

I hate that we don't have at least 10 Clive Barker feature films to talk about. Not only are his stories a unique delight but his cinematic energy is equally one-of-a-kind. These three movies stand out in a crowd, even amongst their genre peers.

We missed out.
