The New York Times reports that the 450 arrests included multiple Hyundai employees and executives of LG Energy Solution, the battery manufacturer. It also included multiple U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents, who were arrested in the initial raid and then released.

This is not normal. A sitting president refusing to call the governor of a state after two elected officials were shot, one fatally, is beyond words. A typical president, regardless of politics, would pick up the phone. Offer condolences.
