I probably will never experience something like this because I'm a man of average height, but sometimes I'm scared of being robbed or worse severely injured.

Well, this is heartwarming to learn, even though it's already old news.
This is from 2019, but sometimes I still think about that guy in Utah who found an injured baby bird near the house where he'd been drinking all day.
He decided he was too drunk to drive it to a wildlife rehab center, so he called an Uber to take the bird—by itself.
