Apparently it's World Snake Day! Which is either a day to celebrate our lord and savior Jörmungandr, or it's a perfect day for me to post this adorable little garter snake (𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘮𝘯𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴) we found up in a tree while hiking a few years ago:

Last season we chatted poetry, category theory, space-filling curves, parallelepipeds, voting & road sign regulations, we stared deep into an area the size of Wales and feasted on a universe of cake.

Hey! It's Bandcamp Friday, the day when Bandcamp waives their fees so more of the money you spend there goes to the artist. So it's a great day to check out and possibly purchase some new music there.

It's good to see people waking up to what a catastrophe this administration is, but it's too bad they weren't paying enough attention last November to stop this from happening.

Hey, you know what’d be a big help? If the media would stop covering trans sports participation like it’s a new idea with no existing evidence, so we have to discuss in in terms of what various people THINK will happen.

But we don’t, because there is plenty of evidence, scientific and anecdotal.

Yesterday was a gorgeous day for hiking, so we hit the Wiley Trails, where we spotted these little coltsfoot (𝘛𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘰 𝘧𝘢𝘳𝘧𝘢𝘳𝘢) flowers.

They're the very first wildflowers (not growing on someone's lawn) that we've seen this year!
